Reflection Blog

Our 20% project has ended and I can say it was a good experience doing this project. Leanna was my partner for this project and I like that she was my partner because she worked really hard and didn't let me do all the work. Honestly, our project was a failure but not a complete failure. We learn many things this year that had to do with our project. When we were doing our project on Animal Abuse we learn how that animals get dramatized because of the abuse and they get scared of people. That was just an example. We also learn that we can't be procrastinating on projects and if we do were just going to fail. I wish Leanna and I could go back to the first day of our project and think of a great topic to do it on. Our presentation was just a power point on how we failed and how we expect our classmates not to fail. We told them that they need to be prepared from the first day. I think our power point was really good and it was well done and the way we talk to the class without looking at the screen was great. It's not good that we failed but Leanna and I learned from it and we won't procrastinate again. We both did all of our blogs and we kept up with it but we never did what we said what we wanted to do. I honestly like that we did this project because we learned a few things and it was just a good experience. I will learn from this and try my best never to fail a project again. I won't be doing every project last minute, I will start it from the first day. I learn from my failures and mistakes and change them into postive things so I can succeed.

Blog#12

Leanna and I in our 20 percent project hasn't been going like we want too. It has been a complete failure and disappointment. We have changed our 20 % project now to having a PowerPoint on how to learn from your mistakes. We will be giving reasons and discussing what happen to us of doing our project and how it was unsuccessful. We are both disappointed in ourselves because we are both A's students and we shouldn't be procasintaing. We have learned many things on doing this project and we will be talking about that in our presentation. We will be presentating on Thursday. We are going to help our fellow classmates and how to recover and to learn from things you didn't accomplish and not to give up on yourself just because you failed. I wish we would have set our mind to a topic but we didn't and we regret that. We should have focused more on our project and been more dedicated to it. I do admit that we fails but we learned so many things , even positive things. Failing is good for you , it gives you the worst feeling ever and motivates you to not fail again and if you do it's because you didn't try your best. If you try your best , you won't fail. You will succeed at one point. We are going to try to make our 20% project that we failed doing into a postive by helping our classmates of anyone else and giving them advice on how to be successful and how to learn from your mistakes. We will try our best to make our project the best presentation that leanna and I have ever done and we will make it a positive presentation and a interesting one. This is leanna and I new 20% project.

Blog#11

Leanna and I in our 20 percent project hasn't been going like we want it too. It has been really tough on us going into our 11th week of our project. We haven't really been doing anything lately. Our main objective in our project is to have people to know that it's not good to let animals be abuse. We can't have that in our country.  Something needs to change  fast. We should be looking out for dogs more because they are very kind to us and of course dogs are a guy best friend. When I see a dog and it's lonely I go up to it and see if it has a collar so I can call the owner. That's what we want to convince people to do . Is took look out for dogs and to care about them. We are still debating on when we're going to make our website but we can't find the time too. We have agreed that we will be doing an entertaining PowerPoint for our presentation day and give out flyers on how to be more aware of dogs. We wish our project would be better but it's not but we're trying really hard too. We are going to make it as good as possible as we can. We want to make a change and get a good grade ! We want to be able to say we didn't fail our 20 percent project and that we did our best. We are going to work on it for the next 2 weeks until the day of our prensentation . This is what leanna and I have been doing and what we're going to do. We will help dogs and make a difference , even if it's a tiny difference. Animal abuse needs to be stopped.

It's Leanna and I 10th week of doing our 20 % project and we have been progressing and making our project better. We recently have just advertise our website on Facebook and Instagram and have made our website. We have been researching stories and we are deciding which stories to put on our website. We recently had just experienced something that had to do with an animal. Leanna and I before first period were at the park and we saw this dog and we called it and came to us and we looked at its collar. It was a male dog and it's name was Rudy. It had a number on the collar and we called it. A women answered and we told her that we had her dog and she was in shock and didn't notice that her dog was gone. She happen to live across the street from the park so it wasn't that bad. She came 10 minutes after we called her and she was happy that we had her dog and said "thank you so much" . It felt good saving that dog that could have been killed or been tooken by someone bad. Leanna and I decided to put this story as our first one on our website. We still need I edit our website and we are going to make it better. This is what Leanna and I what have done so far in our 20 % project on animal abuse and rescue.

Blog #9

Leanna and I so far in our 9th week of doing our 20% project is that we have really not been doing anything and kinda have at the same time.  Leanna and I have been researching our new 20% project of animal abuse and we have read some pretty interesting stories about animals that survive animal abuse. We also saw really disturbing videos of dogs getting hit by their owners and it was sick how a person could do that to a dog. We learn how some dogs get dramatized and get aggressive when anyone tries to touch them. It's crazy how much dogs can be effected by it. Then we thought of names to name our website. We really couldn't decided on one. One name we thought of was "stop animal abuse". Another one is "save our animals". The last one we thought of is called " animals don't deserve it". Those are the names we came up with so far. Leanna and I talked about how we should get our website known by posting things on Facebook and Instagram for people could know about our website. We are going to create our website this weekend. We also found a animal shelter in Anaheim and we are debating if we should go this Sunday or Monday. This is what we have done so far in our 20% project for our 2nd week in our 2nd semester. We will also be taking pictures of the animals when we visit the shelter to show the animals. Some of the pictures might be disturbing. We are just trying to give a voice for the animals in need. We have been working hard and have been doing many thing to our project.

Blog #4

It's Leanna and I fourth week of our new 20% project on Animal Abuse. We have been doing somewhat research on this topic and we have learned a lot. We learned about how some animals are dramatized and are really protective of them selves because of the their past experiences with their owners. That's crazy how the animal can be so affected by such an awful experience. Animals shouldn't be treating in harmful way because their our pets so we can take care of them and make them feel love and to give them a great home. That's why Leanna and I chose to change our 20% project to Animal abuse so we can protect and to help these animals and to be a word for them. We are just trying to make a difference. So we finally came up with what our website is going to be called and its going to be called "stopanimalabuse911". We both agreed on this name because its to refer that it's a sign of help and rescue. We also found so many videos about abused animals and their stories and it's just so sad what they go through and it's need to be stop as soon as possible. This is what we have pretty much done so far in our project. We are going to make our website sometime this week and we will be putting advertisements on facebook and instagram. This is what our 20% project is on and what we have done in these four weeks. We need to stop animal abuse everywhere and save the animals. Animals didn't do anything to us so why would we do something to them?

Blog #3

Our 20 % project is not doing as well as we thought it would be. We still haven't made a website but we have been searching up on how to make one. We will be making the website tomorrow. We still haven't decided what we want to call our website but we will have it by tomorrow. We haven't found a animal shelter in Anaheim yet but we will soon. When we go to it we will be taking pictures of the abused animals and asking the workers there questions about how it was abused and what happen to the owner. We are going to be putting the pictures of the animals and putting their stories. We will be advertising our website on facebook and Instagram and telling people to visit our website. We will be also asking the workers if they help the animals all the time or only sometimes and how do they take care of them. Leanna and I need to spend more time on our project to make it good and understandable. We have been working on it a little bit more then usual. We are trying to prevent people from abusing there poar innocent animals and if they don't like them then give them to the shelter instead of treating them badly. This is what Leanna and I have done.

Blog #1

Leanna and I have decided to change our 20% project to Animal Abuse because our Savanna sports project wasn't working out we couldn't go to all of the games and it was just difficult to go to every game of every sport. So today were going to start working on our new project on Animal abuse and it will be a little bit easier. We are going to make a website about Animal abuse and have stories about animals that have been treated badly and been killed by the owners from so much abuse. We will have pictures on the website. We will also be posting videos of animals being abused. We are also going to put reasons why animals shouldn't be abused and the causes of it. We will be making our website sometime this weekend and advertising it on Instagram and Facebook so people could know about our website. We are going to start working it on today by researching stories about animals being abused and writing our opinions about the stories and what people should do if they see animals getting abused. It's not right for animals to be being treated that way. We will also be looking for videos too this week. We are going to look for a animal shelter in Anaheim that has animals that have been abused to see them and to ask the workers some questions about the animals. This is what our new 20% project is going to be on.
