20 % Project week #8

It's Leanna and I 8th week of our 20 % Project of Savanna Sports. We have decided instead of making a website we will be making an Instagram for Savanna Sports and we will be posting our pictures and videos on there. We will be also be putting the scores of the games and we will put a picture of the star player for that game with statistics and we will also try to interview the player after the game and ask a few quick questions. We will be making the Instagram for the Savanna Sports this weekend and we will start following people so they could follow us back. We are pretty much going to be giving updates for students or anyone on how our school is doing athletics wise. The sports we have done so far is football and girls volleyball. We will be posting the records of this year football and girl's volleyball team as soon as we make it. We will also be posting a few pictures and videos also. The sports we will be doing soon is Boys and Girl's Basketball. Also Girl's and Boys soccer we will be doing too. An a few more sports but that won't be till a few months. Basketball and Soccer season start in January , when it starts we will attend all games. This is what Leanna and I have done so far for our 20 % Project on Savanna Sports.

20 % project week # 7

Its our 7th week of Leanna and I 20 % Project and we haven't made any changes really. We are still waiting for Basketball and Soccer season to start so we could attend those games to take pictures and record videos. This past week we tried coming up with new ideas and we only came up with a few. An idea we came up with is that we should chose our MVP for every game to recognize the player of the game and to interview them and to express how they felt about that certain game. We also decided that were going to all 3 division games in Basketball and Soccer. We are still going to make a website for our Savanna Sports and its going to have scores and updates and videos and pictures about our savanna sports. Leanna and I will also be blogging about the games and how we thought our teams did that day.We will be only going to regular season games and no preseasons games. Preseasons games have all ready started and our soccer and basketball teams are expected to be big this year. Every week we try coming up with new ideas for our project could get better and it does. This is our 7th week of our project and we both think it's getting better..

20 % project week #6

Leanna and I still haven't done anything this week. We are still waiting for basketball season to start. They have their first scrimmage against Buena Park at home. We will be attending that game and take a lot of pictures and videos of the game. We started to delete some of the pictures from the football and volleyball game. We deleted the ones we didn't like so which were only a few. I have been trying to find out whats the basketball schedule. I actually found at yesterday that it also might be soccer season too. I'm going to find out sometime this week if its actually going to be soccer season. If it is we will be attending soccer games too for boys and girls. We will also be taking pictures and recording. I'm not sure if there is another sport that is going to be playing for this season, I am going to find out as soon as possible. The girl's varsity team for volleyball won league and went to CIF but lost. They had a great season. We will be taking a picture of the Orange league champion banner, as soon as they put it up in the gym or once they get it. This is what we have done so far in our 20 % project.

20 % project week # 5

What Leanna and I have done so far in our 20 % project is we have gone to 2 football varsity games. We took a lot of pictures the first game and not that many in the second game. We went to one Volleyball game last week but we saw all 3 divisions play. We took a few videos of the games and we take a few pictures too. We are not going to any games this week because volleyball and football are over. So we are going to wait a few weeks to start going to basketball games. We are mostly going to go to JV and Varsity games of guys and girls. The interviews we are going to be doing for volleyball and football will  be at the end of the season , well all of our interviews of the students and coaches will be done at the end of the season. Sometime next week we are going to go to the office and ask about if we could somehow put our video on the Savanna School website. We are probably going to make advertisements about our video somehow but we haven't figured out what to do for it.We're soon going to start to chose what pictures we should put on our video and delete the ones we don't like. Well for basketball season we are going to a lot of games , way more then we did for football and volleyball. Our project gets a little bit better each week and that's what we want.

20 % project week #3

On October 11 , Leanna and I attended our first varsity football game at glover stadium in Anaheim against Anaheim High School. Savanna lost 45-0 in our Homecoming game , even though we lost Savanna played hard from beginning to end. We took a few photos throughout the game. We weren't able to talk to the coaches or players for interviews. The next game will be attending is next Friday and we will be recording some of the game. Sometime next week we will be asking the coaches if its okay to interview some of the players at practice. Leanna and I haven't really been able to do anything. We will be attending some volleyball games next week to take some pictures. We might interview some players after the game. We are only going to record the varsity volleyball team and not JV or Frosh because we think varsity games are more intense and entertaining. We took pictures at the football game with an iPhone 4 but we are going to use a camera for next week football game. We didn't go to volleyball games this week because they were playing away and we have no transportation to other High Schools. This is what Leanna and I have done in our first 3 weeks of our 20% project.

20% project week #2

Its our second week and I still haven't done anything for the 20 percent project. This Friday October 11, Leanna and I will be going to the first football game of the season at Glover stadium. We will be recording  some parts of the first game of the season and taking a lot of pictures. We haven't really been doing anything because season games are going to start this week and next week. We will not be interviewing any of the players or coaches yet. We are going to wait a month to ask them questions. We have came up with new questions to ask them. So we have decided that were not going to every single game we will go to half of the games. Its to much money and we wouldn't be able to go to every single game. So those were really the only changes that we made in this last week. Our 20% project is still about Savanna sports and we will be putting our video on the Savanna website with the permission of the principal.

20 % project # 1

The volleyball games are on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the gym. Varsity football is playing at there home stadium which is glover stadium. JV and frosh off play in Savanna by the track, For the nest few weeks we will not be really doing anything accept for getting out equipment ready for the games and our series of questions we will be asking coaches and players. We will be meeting with each other every Wednesday to see if we want to change anything or if we want to add anything new to our project.  In this two weeks before we start going to the games, we will be asking friends if they would like to help us record the games with us to have different views of the games so we could have close ups and views from far away.
